Advent Devotional: It is designed to begin on Monday, December 1. There are three weeks of devotions (Monday throughFriday), leaving the fourth week (which is only 2 weekdays) open for suggested actions. There is some introductory material about the season that you will want to read on or before the firstSunday of Advent. I hope these messages challenge and encourage everyone! Click HERE to download our Advent devotional. Please also plan to participate in Connections. Connections is an opportunity during the four weeks of Advent to gather for song, prayer, and reflection prior to Sunday School. This brief gathering will help prepare us for the worship service, and offer us a point of connection with our Advent Devotion. Connections will meet in the sanctuary from 9:30 to 9:42.
Emergency Boxes for Salvation Army: The Celestial Class collected 11 emergency boxes so far. They will continue to collect through December. If you would like to help fill an emergency box pick up a flyer for items needed in your classroom or in the foyer.
New Church Office Hours: The church office will be closed on Fridays. There will be a pastor on call each weekend that will be available if needed. The pastor on call will be listed on the Ministry Events sheet each Sunday for the following weekend.
Support the Church’s Budget – EAT! Anna-Maria’s on S. Church Street in Burlington will send donations to our church for all customers presenting a church bulletin when they place an order. A portion of the all bills linked to our church bulletin is sent to the church at the end of each month so enjoy a meal there any day of the week, but don’t forget your bulletin! Each Sunday bulletin is good for that week only.
